So KFC has been showing a new commercial with a bunch of people arguing whether grilled chicken or fried chicken is better, finally with KFC announcing that customers can get both in a mix and match bucket. Did anyone else notice the couple of Asian sushi chefs? I wouldn't say that their characters are necessarily racist, but their outfits and accents allude to the fact that Asians are foreigners and typically dress that way. At first glance, their outfits looks like karate gi's with one of them wearing a japanese rising sun headband. How stereotypical does that get? Why couldn't they show an Asian American in jeans and a shirt arguing with another guy in jeans and a shirt? As if the yellow skin and chinky eyes didn't already set me off to them being asian, they needed to be dressed in sushi chef outfits. Good job, KFC. I'm surprised you don't sell corn bread, watermelon or purple kool-aid.
