America's Best Dance Crew

I've been very impressed with this season's dance crews. My consistent observation is that this season is so much better because not one crew truly sticks out in terms of being the best. Each crew has a chance to get the most votes but also has the potential to fall into the bottom two. The only thing I don't like about this season is the voting by America. I realize that the crew's with the biggest fan bases will get more votes but c'mon. ASIID should still be on the show.

I'm not feeling the Boogie Bots or Super Cr3w at this point because they're so boring. Boogie Bots fell off the radar a while ago and should have went home a while ago but it seems like the females are voting for the Joesar guy. As much as I didn't like Supreme Soul, they deserved to stay over Super Cr3w. They're not versatile enough to be "America's Best Dance Crew" but I would certainly put them up for "America's Best Bboy Crew." I realize that the Jabbawockeez are friends with Super Cr3w and have similar styles, but Jabba was able to turn up the choreography and avoid breakdancing, while Super Cr3w will break on the week where the moves should be inspired by Janet Jackson.

I've also noticed that what the judges say have a lot of influence on the voting. Fanny Pak was in the bottom 2 I think the first or second week and then the judges told America to vote right because Fanny Pak was legit. I predict the Boogie Bots go home because, despite her lack of credibility, Lil Mama said they were wack. Anyways, my team is So Real Cru. I'm expecting them to go far.

New Blog

Hey guys, this is my first blog in a very long time. I used to be all about Xanga but I never really used the website to "blog." I never really had much to talk about so I just put up pictures of stuff I did or put up quiz results. I'll do a cliff notes version of my life since my last xanga entry which was like, February 2005 haha.

  • Graduated from Westview c/o 2006

So that's basically it. This past week I went to Comic-Con with Sean, Rainier and Justin. The best part was seeing the Entertainment Weekly Panel that featured Kevin Smith, Judd Apatow, Zach Snyder and Frank Miller. The first two are very influential in the genre of comedy, Kevin Smith for the Clerks series and Judd Apatow for basically all the movies featuring the "Frat Pack." Zach Snyder and Frank Miller have been working on movies that were mostly comic book adaptations. Off the top of my head, these two are both responsible for 300 and Sin City.
This is the best I could do. Kevin Smith, Judd Apatow, Zach Snyder and Frank Miller, respectively.

I've realized I'm not ready for a relationship just yet. Even though I say how much I want a girlfriend, what I'm looking for doesn't really match up with what the girl wants. Right now there's a girl but so much stuff is going on with her that I kind of want to stay away, yet I can't. I think only one person knows who I'm talking about.

It's getting pretty late, it's almost 3AM right now and I got an interview at 11AM and then another interview at 3PM at Boudin Bakery at Fashion Valley. Hopefully things are turning up because this has been a summer I am more than ready to get through and forget.
